This gluten-free cardamom-morning-bread is a delicous treat, no matter if you live gluten-free or not. This bread tastes like 'made with wheat', but it is not.

Made only with basic utensils, like a bowl, a whisk and a bread form. We did not use any kitchen-machines to bake this bread.

Our cardamom morning bread is extra crunchy roasted or toasted. 

Made with yeast and Nemmersen-baking-powder, starch-free and lactose-free.

Directions

  • 1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water

    Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water with a whisk until it becomes a liquid mass

  • 2. Add psyllium powder

    Add psyllium powder and whisk.

    Let the psyllium-yeast-water jelly sit for 5 minutes

  • 3. Sugar and eggs in mixing bowl

    Put sugar and eggs in a mixing bowl.

    Whisk for at least 3 minutes, until the mixture becomes a white, fluffy egg foam.

  • 4. Add all other ingredients

    Add all other ingredients to the mixing bowl.

    Knead with a spatula and nitril-glovew or a hand mixer until the mass is well mixed.

  • 5. Add the psyllium- jelly

    Add the psyllium-yeast-water jelly and mix well to form a firm dough

  • 6. Pour dough into a bread form

    Pour the dough into a medium sized bread form, covered with baking paper.

    Sprinkle with rice flour.

  • 7. Brush with water

    Brush the top of the dough with some water.

    Use always bottled/filtered water for a better taste.

  • 8. Let the dough rise

    Let the dough rise in a closed plasticbag for 30 min.

  • 9. Bake at 175°C/350°F

    Place the breadform in the Airfryer or preheated oven.

    Bake the bread for 55 min. at 175°C/350°F in your oven (hot air) or your airfryer.

  • 10. Cool the bread on a cooling rack

    Remove the breadform from your oven or airfryer.

    Get the bread out of the form immediately and let the bread cool completely on a cooling rack before cutting it.
