Label checker

Paste the ingredients from a package and see what could hide something you need to avoid: hidden sources, E-numbers and "may contain" warnings. Nothing you paste leaves your device.

Label checker
What do you need to avoid?

On a phone you can copy the text straight from a photo of the package: open the photo, press and hold on the ingredient list (iPhone: Live Text; Android: Google Lens), choose Copy, then paste it here. Printed labels can be misread, so read the result against the package.

The photo stays on your device: it is read by a program that runs in your browser, and it is never uploaded.

Only the barcode number is sent, to look the product up.

This tool compares your text with lists of words and E-numbers. It cannot know what a manufacturer left out, how a product was made, or what happened in the factory. A word it does not know is not a word that is safe. If you react to something, ask the maker, and follow your own doctor's advice.
